When we first arrived on Paros (one of the Cyclades islands, like Santorini). I was wondering what our hotel would be like. When I saw it I noticed all the many colours. The building was white but the doors and windows had colours. Like red and blue, green and yellow.
There are cats everywhere, sitting on top of cars. They are all loved and well looked after and very friendly. We made friends with some of the cats and they sat next to us in the hotel garden at dinner time.
There was a huge Orthodox church in Paros that was the oldest Byzantine church in Greece, I think. We had a look through and it was amazing and shiny. You were only allowed in if you had long pants or a dress on. No shorts or singlets were allowed.
We went for a walk to an awesome beach with cool rock formations. Then we found a swimming spot so we went swimming. The water was so clear and warm and I saw some tropical looking fish.
The next day we hired a car and drove around the island. We saw a ferry come from another island called Antiparos. We randomly decided to drive our car on board and visit Antiparos. It was cool with all the views from the hills.
